A Modelica-Based and Domain-Specific Framework for Electromechanical System Design
نویسندگان
چکیده
A Modelica-Based Domain-Specific Framework for Electromechanical System Design was developed. The intended goal of this framework is to be used in early design phases in order to size physical architectures of electromechanical airbrake system. It has been developed using a generic methodology for the development of interoperable and modeldriven system design frameworks. It is based on domain-specific modelling languages for the description of system architectures and relies on ModelicaML, a Modelica UML profile, to support system architecture analyses with the Modelica modelling language. Transitions between architectural description models and Modelica analysis models are realized through analyses-based model transformations.

A Multi-Objective HBMO-Based New FC-MCR Compensator for Damping of Power System Oscillations
In this paper, a novel compensator based on Magnetically Controlled Reactor with Fixed Capacitor banks (FC-MCR) is introduced and then power system stability in presence of this compensator is studied using an intelligent control method. The problem of robust FC-MCR-based damping controller design is formulated as a multi-objective optimization problem. The multi-objective problem is concocted ...
متن کاملComposition of XML Dialects: A ModelicaXML Case Study
This paper investigates how software composition and transformation can be applied to domain specific languages used today in modeling and simulation of physical systems. More specifically, we address the composition and transformation of the Modelica language. The composition targets the ModelicaXML dialect which is the XML representation of the Modelica language. By extending the COMPOST conc...
متن کاملA New Robust Control Design Based on Feedback Compensator for Sssc
In this paper, the modified linearized Phillips-Heffron model is utilized to theoretically analyze asingle-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) installed with SSSC. Then, the results of this analysis are used forassessing the potential of an SSSC supplementary controller to improve the dynamic stability of apower system. This is carried out by measuring the electromechanical controllability through sing...
متن کاملDesign of A Self-Tuning Adaptive Power System Stabilizer
Power system stabilizers (PSSs) must be capable of providing appropriate stabilization signals over abroad range of operating conditions and disturbances. The main idea of this paper is changing aclassic PSS (CPSS) to an adaptive PSS using genetic algorithm. This new genetic algorithm based onadaptive PSS (GAPSS) improves power system damping, considerably. The controller design issue isformula...
متن کاملA Design, Simulation and Visualization Environment for Object-Oriented Mechanical and Multi-Domain Models in Modelica
The complexity of mechanical and multi-domain simulation models is rapidly increasing. Therefore new methods and standards are needed for model design. A new language, Modelica, has been proposed by an international design committee as a standard, object-oriented, equationbased language suitable for description of the dynamics of systems containing mechanical, electrical, chemical and other typ...
